Need a good laugh? Flip on over to CNN for a couple of minutes. Their spin on the conclusion reached by the House Intelligence Committee that there was no collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign is rather amusing as commentators exclaim this is a win for the Mueller investigation.
First of all, there was concern of Russian attempts to interfere in the election way back in 2016 when we were led to believe that Russia was responsible for the hack on the DNC. In response to then candidate Trump’s allegations of potential “fixing” with regard to the election, President Obama had this to say, “There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even — you could even rig America’s elections, in part, because they are so decentralized and the numbers of votes involved,” Obama said during a press conference at the White House in October 2016. “There is no evidence that that has happened in the past or that there are instances in which that will happen this time. And so I’d invite Mr. Trump to stop whining and go try to make his case to get votes.” It does not matter that this statement was not made in specific reference to Russia, what matters is that there existed questions of Russian interference that were ignored by President Obama and his administration. In fact, the Russian collusion narrative was down played until it became a tool for Democrats to use against Trump when he in fact did make his case to the American people and did get their votes.
What you do not hear on CNN or the other mainstream media news outlets is what has come to light regarding the DNC hack. There is evidence that it was not a hack at all, but a leak. A leak by someone on the inside with access to DNC computers. Evidence indicates that it was a download executed locally by someone on the inside of the DNC. Witnesses have come forward with additional evidence to support this conclusion but have been ignored by the FBI and Mueller. Another fact that liberals like to leave out of their reporting is that the Russian troll farms that used social media to disseminate disinformation showed no preference for one candidate over another in that their efforts harmed multiple campaigns, even the Trump campaign. These organizations were responsible for the organization of rallies protesting Trump.
CNN has dismissed the findings of the House Intel Committee branding it as polarized and political, while praising the lack of bias on the part of the FBI. Now there is the joke of the day. They have called Representative Nunes a partisan cheerleader for President Trump that is not capable of an objective investigation. Wow, did they miss all of those text messages between Strzok and Page? What about Steele, the author of the bogus dossier that gave life to this entire bogus journey? Did they miss the part about him stating he was very passionate about making sure Trump did not win? Did they miss the part about those at the top of the DOJ and FBI using an admittedly unverified document to obtain a FISA warrant and failing to inform the Judge that it was unverified, even used a leak by Steele as an additional source to corroborate the information in the dossier he himself authored, and did not disclose that the dossier was paid for by the Clinton campaign as “opposition research?” Guess they also missed the fact that money flowed from the Clinton campaign to Russian operatives for information contained within the dossier.
Gone are the days of informative journalism. No longer can we turn on the evening news to be informed regarding the issues facing this nation. Those that were initially to serve as watchdogs for the people by reporting the truth now serve only as another arm of the liberal DNC. The teacups at Disney have nothing on the liberal media when it comes to spin. News is no longer an industry based upon finding and relaying facts, but rather an art of attempting to twist the facts to support a liberal ideology.
